BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics
BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics (BBOT) makes pills against the KRAS cancer protein and a drug that stops KRAS from switching on a second growth signal called PI3K-alpha. All three drugs are in early human trials.
Overview
BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics (BBOT) is a South San Francisco clinical-stage company spun out of BridgeBio and focused on RAS pathway cancers. Its three clinical programmes are BBO-8520, a KRAS G12C inhibitor binding both ON and OFF states, in the phase 1 ONKORAS-101 trial in KRAS G12C non-small cell lung cancer; BBO-11818, a pan-KRAS inhibitor in the phase 1 KONQUER-101 trial in KRAS-mutant solid tumours; and BBO-10203, a RAS-PI3K-alpha interaction inhibitor ('breaker') in the phase 1 BREAKER-101 trial in HER2-positive and HR-positive/HER2-negative breast cancer and KRAS-mutant colorectal and lung cancer. BBOT listed on Nasdaq on 11 August 2025 through a business combination with Helix Acquisition Corp. II, a SPAC sponsored by affiliates of Cormorant Asset Management, with a 261 million US dollar PIPE and about 382 million US dollars in gross proceeds; it expected roughly 490 million US dollars in cash at closing.
