The Fondazione Italiana Linfomi is Italy's non-profit lymphoma trials foundation, constituted in 2010 out of the Intergruppo Italiano Linfomi of 1994 and working with more than 150 Italian centres; in OnCo it leads two lymphoma trials.
Overview
The Fondazione Italiana Linfomi (FIL) develops non-profit, independent clinical research projects for the treatment of lymphoma, involving more than 150 centres in Italy and collaborating with IELSG, EORTC, LYSA, GELTAMO and the European Mantle Cell Network; it is the evolution of the Intergruppo Italiano Linfomi, which first met in Florence in 1994, was constituted as a foundation on 29 September 2010, entered the Italian register of third-sector entities on 18 April 2023, is ISO 9001 certified for the design and management of clinical trials, and has its legal seat at Piazza Turati 5, Alessandria (filinf.it). ClinicalTrials.gov registers it as Fondazione Italiana Linfomi - ETS (OTHER class) and names it lead sponsor of NCT01827605 (phase 3, radioimmunotherapy against autologous transplant in relapsed follicular lymphoma) and NCT06835530 (FIL_RICCO, phase 2, rituximab with the cereblon modulator CC-99282 as front-line therapy for older frail patients with lymphoma), both recorded in OnCo. It has no products of its own.
