Halda Therapeutics
Halda Therapeutics invented a new kind of oral cancer drug that links a protein found only in tumour cells to a protein cells need to survive, killing the cancer cell. Johnson & Johnson bought the company for 3.05 billion US dollars in 2025.
Overview
Halda Therapeutics was a New Haven, Connecticut clinical-stage biotechnology company built on its Regulated Induced Proximity Targeting Chimera (RIPTAC) platform: heterobifunctional oral molecules that bring a tumour-specific protein together with a protein essential for cell survival, producing a hold-and-kill mechanism intended to overcome resistance to existing targeted therapies. Its lead candidate, HLD-0915, is a once-daily oral therapy in clinical development for prostate cancer, and the platform is being applied to other solid tumours. SEC Form D filings show about 41 million US dollars sold in 2021 and roughly 150 million US dollars sold across two 2024 offerings. Johnson & Johnson completed its acquisition of Halda for 3.05 billion US dollars in cash on 29 December 2025; the Halda website now redirects to J&J Innovative Medicine.

Notes
top- haldatx.com redirects to a J&J page that showed a site-maintenance notice, so no original company page was available. The 2024 Form D offerings are widely reported as the Series B but that label was not verified. HLD-0915's clinical phase was not stated in the fetched release beyond 'clinical-stage'.
