Hanmi Pharmaceutical is one of South Korea's largest drug companies, known for its long-acting protein platform and for olmutinib, the third-generation EGFR inhibitor approved in Korea as Olita in 2016.

Hanmi Pharmaceutical, founded in 1973 and based in Seoul, is a research-driven South Korean pharmaceutical company. Its LAPSCOVERY platform produced efpeglenatide and the neutropenia drug eflapegrastim (Rolvedon), and it has out-licensed several oncology candidates including the pan-RAF inhibitor belvarafenib and the FLT3 inhibitor tuspetinib. Olmutinib (HM61713), a third-generation EGFR T790M inhibitor, received conditional approval in Korea in 2016; Boehringer Ingelheim returned its licence the same year after cases of severe skin toxicity.
