Iktos sells artificial intelligence software that designs new drug molecules and plans how to make them, and runs robotic labs that build and test the molecules automatically.
Overview
Iktos, founded in 2016 and based in Paris, provides AI and robotics for small-molecule discovery. Makya is a generative AI software-as-a-service platform for de novo, multi-parameter optimised molecule design; Spaya is an AI retrosynthesis tool that maps target compounds back to commercially available starting materials; and Iktos Robotics operates autonomous synthesis, purification, analysis and imaging-based screening. The company reports more than 60 collaborations with pharmaceutical, biotech and academic partners including Pfizer, Takeda and Johnson and Johnson, and has three in-house programmes: MTHFD2 (inflammation and autoimmunity, with a 2026 patent publication), amylin receptor (obesity) and SKP2-CKS1 (immuno-oncology). In 2026 it launched Iktos Engine APIs for agentic workflows and was selected for a JETRO programme in Japan. The website mentions an EIC Accelerator grant but no round amounts or investors were on fetched pages.
