Interpace Biosciences is a New Jersey laboratory company whose genetic tests help doctors judge whether a thyroid nodule with unclear biopsy results is likely to be cancer.
Interpace Biosciences, Inc., of Parsippany, New Jersey, provides molecular diagnostic testing and pathology services for patients with indeterminate biopsies. After Medicare stopped covering its pancreatic cyst test on 24 April 2025, it stopped accepting those specimens in May 2025 and now concentrates on its thyroid tests ThyGeNEXT and ThyraMIR v2, used together on indeterminate thyroid nodules; Labcorp was its largest customer for them in 2025 and the first half of 2026. It is developing a new test for the risk of pancreatic cyst progression to cancer, which it expects to take 12 to 24 months, and names Barrett's oesophagus as a second target for a new test.
ThyGeNEXT is a genetic test from Interpace Biosciences, run on a thyroid nodule sample, that looks for the mutations most often found in thyroid cancer.
ThyraMIR v2 is a test from Interpace Biosciences that measures small RNA molecules in a thyroid nodule sample to help judge how likely it is to be cancer.
