Overview
MaaT Pharma (Euronext Paris: MAAT), founded in 2014 in Lyon, develops Microbiome Ecosystem Therapies supported by its gutPrint AI discovery engine and in-house cGMP manufacturing. Lead product Xervyteg (MaaT013), a pooled full-ecosystem microbiome therapy, is intended for steroid-refractory gastrointestinal acute graft-versus-host disease after allogeneic stem cell transplantation; more than 230 patients have been treated under early access across 13 countries. In June 2026 the EMA's CHMP issued a negative opinion and MaaT Pharma said it would request re-examination. MaaT033, an oral capsule, is in the PHOEBUS trial in allogeneic transplant recipients, described as potentially pivotal in Europe, with one-year overall survival data expected in late 2028. Cash was EUR 18.1 million at 31 March 2026; a EUR 6 million European Investment Bank loan tranche drawn in April 2026 extended runway to November 2026.
