Overview
MedPacto, listed on KOSDAQ, develops vactosertib (TEW-7197), an oral inhibitor of the TGF-beta type 1 receptor kinase ALK5 that aims to relieve the immunosuppressive and fibrotic effects of TGF-beta in the tumour microenvironment. Vactosertib is in a phase 2/3 trial with FOLFIRI and bevacizumab in second-line metastatic colorectal cancer and has been studied with pembrolizumab in colorectal and gastric cancer, with pomalidomide in multiple myeloma and in osteosarcoma.
