Numerion Labs, the company formerly called Atomwise, uses machine learning to search enormous libraries of possible molecules on a computer and pick the few worth making in a laboratory. Its own medicines are aimed at immune and inflammatory disease rather than cancer.
Numerion Labs is the AI drug discovery company formerly known as Atomwise; its October 2025 release describes it as "formerly known as Atomwise", and atomwise.com now redirects to its website. It describes an AI platform that explores chemical space for new drug-like molecules, combining machine learning with computational chemistry, structural biology and medicinal chemistry, and in October 2025 published work with NVIDIA on APEX, a method for screening very large virtual compound libraries quickly. The company says the programmes from its platform are in immune and inflammatory diseases. It is included here because its virtual screening methods are used in cancer drug discovery, not because it has an oncology programme of its own.
