It 'focuses on high-caliber, therapeutic, platform-based companies around the world', specifically 'early-stage, preclinical opportunities and products which complement Takeda's pipeline', and partners with academic innovators, entrepreneurs and venture investors 'to create and nurture a portfolio of companies in areas aligned with Takeda's R&D pillars: Oncology, Rare Genetics & Hematology, Neuroscience and Gastrointestinal and Inflammation'.
