Tasca Therapeutics makes pills that block cancer-driving proteins by plugging a pocket where the protein normally holds a fatty molecule. Its first medicine, CP-383, began its first human trial in advanced solid tumours in September 2025.
Tasca Therapeutics is a clinical-stage company whose discovery platform identifies and maps lipid-binding pockets on proteins, including sites on auto-palmitoylated proteins, and designs small molecules against them. Its first-in-class lead, CP-383, is designed to modulate an oncogenic signalling pathway that the company has not named publicly; the launch release said it would first be evaluated in small cell lung, colorectal, head and neck and brain cancers. Tasca launched on 10 December 2024 with a USD 52 million Series A co-led by Regeneron Ventures and Cure Ventures with participation from the Invus Group, and on 16 September 2025 announced the first patient dosed in a phase 1/2 dose escalation and expansion trial of CP-383 in advanced solid tumours. Scientific founders are Xu Wu, David Fisher and Duojia Pan; co-founder Milenko Cicmil is chief executive.
