Overview
Theolytics, spun out of the University of Oxford, uses directed evolution and high-throughput screening of adenovirus libraries to select oncolytic viruses with the best tumour selectivity and potency for a chosen cancer. THEO-260, selected against ovarian cancer cells, entered a phase 1/2 trial in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer in 2024 and is also being developed for intravenous delivery.
