X-Zell

X-Zell, based in Bangkok with a German office, built an end-to-end platform for rare-cell detection: blood processing, isolation of circulating abnormal cells such as circulating endothelial cells, multiplex cytopathology staining and digital imaging, all developed in-house. Its early work centred on prostate cancer, where the aim was to reduce unnecessary biopsies after a raised PSA. The company remains active in the YC directory and describes a product ecosystem for research, companion diagnostics and relapse monitoring; it has not published pivotal clinical validation for a regulated test, so evidence should be treated as early.
