A US charity, founded in 1973, that funds brain tumour research and gives patients and caregivers information and support for every type of brain tumour.
The American Brain Tumor Association was founded in 1973 by Susan Netchin Kramer and Linda Gene Goldstein, who both had young daughters with brain tumours, according to its founders page. It describes itself as the first national advocacy organisation committed to funding brain tumour research and providing information and education to patients, caregivers and their families, and has done both for more than 50 years. The IRS Business Master File lists revenue of about $7 million for the tax year ending December 2025.
