A US membership organisation, founded in 1974, for the teams that run cancer programmes, from independent practices to academic centres; it offers education, financial-navigation training and advocacy.
The Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC), formerly the Association of Community Cancer Centers, has supported cancer care teams since 1974, according to its 50th anniversary page. After a strategic planning process in 2023 it changed its name so that "Cancer Care" would reflect the whole multidisciplinary team, including psychosocial care, genetic counselling and nutrition. Its about page states a membership of more than 45,000 cancer care professionals from more than 1,700 member organisations, and a mission to lead high-quality, equitable cancer care through education and advocacy. Its resources include a Financial Advocacy Network for financial navigators and a Patient Assistance & Reimbursement Guide. The IRS record still carries the former name. The IRS Business Master File lists revenue of about $16 million for the tax year ending June 2025.
