ANCHOR Centre, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

The ANCHOR Centre (Aberdeen and North Centre for Haematology, Oncology and Radiotherapy) is NHS Grampian's dedicated cancer centre on the Foresterhill campus in Aberdeen, one of Scotland's five regional cancer centres alongside Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Inverness. It brings together outpatient oncology and haematology, chemotherapy and immunotherapy day care, and supportive services in a purpose-built facility next to the existing radiotherapy department, serving Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. Research with the University of Aberdeen's Institute of Medical Sciences covers cancer epidemiology, imaging and colorectal cancer.
