Armenia's society for professionals who give emotional and psychological support to people with cancer; it trains and connects them rather than seeing patients itself.
The Armenian Psycho-Oncology Association is Armenia's member of the IPOS Federation. Its IPOS country page gives 2016 as its founding year and 2020 as the year it joined IPOS, and describes a membership made up mostly of psychologists (73.4 per cent), with physicians, social workers, nurses, palliative medicine specialists, psychiatrists and human rights defenders. It runs a newsletter and an email list and holds no conference or journal of its own.
