A US charity for colon and rectal cancer, started by survivors in 1999: patient support, screening campaigns, research funding and advocacy.
The Colorectal Cancer Alliance was established in 1999, as the Colon Cancer Alliance, by a group of more than 40 survivors, caregivers and friends, according to its history page. It merged with the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation in 2016 and took its present name in November 2017; it describes the result as the largest colorectal cancer-specific nonprofit in the United States. Its about page lists programmes to support patients, increase screening rates and accelerate research, together with advocacy and policy work, and it launched the Dress in Blue Day awareness campaign nationally. The IRS Business Master File lists revenue of about $17 million for the tax year ending December 2025.
