An Israeli bone marrow donor registry run by the health-support charity Ezer Mizion since 1998. Since 2005 every new soldier in the Israel Defense Forces can join it at induction.
Ezer Mizion, an Israeli health-support organisation, has run its bone marrow donor registry since 1998 and makes its donors available through the international WMDA network. In 2005 the Israel Defense Forces and Ezer Mizion signed an agreement allowing every recruit to join the registry during army induction, which Ezer Mizion says brings in young donors of varied ethnic groups and speeds matches for patients around the world.
