A charity started in 2019 that funds research aimed at curing follicular lymphoma and provides information for people living with it.
The Follicular Lymphoma Foundation was launched in summer 2019 by Nicola Mendelsohn, who was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma in November 2016. It describes itself as the first charity focused solely on finding a cure for follicular lymphoma, with entities in Israel, the United Kingdom and the United States. It funds research programmes, including cure-focused programmes and a biomarker discovery programme, runs a global patient survey and publishes information resources for people with the disease. The register describes its mission as finding and funding research and keeping patients' voices at the centre of the search for better treatments. The Charity Commission register records latest income of about £2.5 million for the year ending 31 December 2025.
