A US lung cancer charity founded by patients and survivors: a free HelpLine for one-to-one support, screening and early detection work, research and policy advocacy.
GO2 for Lung Cancer was formed in 2019 by the merger of two organisations, according to its history page: Lung Cancer Alliance, which traces its roots to 1979 and took that name in 2004, and the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation, founded in 2006 by Bonnie J. Addario after her own diagnosis of stage IIIB lung cancer in 2003. Its stated mission is to confront lung cancer on every front for everyone, and it describes itself as the nation's leading lung cancer advocacy organisation founded by patients and survivors. Its HelpLine offers free one-to-one support on screening, clinical trials and resources. The IRS Business Master File lists revenue of about $12 million for the tax year ending December 2025.
