The Lung Cancer Research Foundation's mission is to improve lung cancer outcomes by funding research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer, according to its about page. It says it exists to confront gaps in lung cancer research funding, and aims by 2030 to nearly double its annual research investment to $5 million, with at least half of net revenue going to research. It holds an annual symposium of its grantees and organises Free to Breathe walks. The IRS record lists it in Philadelphia. The IRS Business Master File lists revenue of about $7 million for the tax year ending December 2024.
