The association of the population cancer registries of the US and Canada, which sets the data standards for counting cancer cases and certifies and publishes registry data.
The North American Association of Central Cancer Registries was established in 1987 as an umbrella organisation for cancer registries, government agencies, professional associations and private groups in North America, according to its about page; all central cancer registries in the United States and Canada are members. It develops and promotes uniform data standards for cancer registration, provides education and training, certifies population-based registries, aggregates and publishes their data, and promotes the use of surveillance data for cancer control and research. The IRS Business Master File lists revenue of about $5 million for the tax year ending May 2025.
