The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare lists it as the prefectural cancer care hub hospital (都道府県がん診療連携拠点病院) for Oita Prefecture, the top tier of the ministry's designated cancer care hospitals. Its English page states that it was accredited as a General Hospital 3 and a Psychiatric Hospital by the Japan Health Care Evaluation Organization on 7 February 2020.
