Overview
St. Anna Children's Hospital is Austria's largest paediatric oncology centre and is affiliated with the Medical University of Vienna; the adjoining St. Anna Children's Cancer Research Institute (CCRI) carries out laboratory and clinical research. The hospital's Studies and Statistics unit, led by Ruth Ladenstein, coordinates the SIOP Europe Neuroblastoma Group (SIOPEN) high-risk neuroblastoma trials, including the HR-NBL1 trial that established busulfan-melphalan conditioning and dinutuximab beta immunotherapy in Europe.
