Cancer Control began in 1994 as the journal of the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida, and is now published by SAGE Publishing with Moffitt Cancer Center as its affiliated institution. DOAJ records it as fully open access since 2018 under CC BY and CC BY-NC licences, with an article processing charge (waivers available) and double anonymous peer review.
