Overview
Cancer Medicine is a peer-reviewed, open access, interdisciplinary Wiley journal providing rapid publication of research across the cancer sciences. It considers submissions from all oncology specialties in four broad sections: clinical cancer research (trials, chemotherapy, radiation and surgical therapy, guidelines), cancer biology (molecular and cellular biology, genomics, immunology, epigenetics, carcinogenesis, drug discovery), cancer prevention (behavioural and psychosocial studies, screening, nutrition, epidemiology) and bioinformatics. Article types are original research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, methods papers, brief communications and invited editorials and commentaries, and it also takes papers referred from other Wiley journals. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence with authors retaining copyright; DOAJ records an article processing charge with waivers and anonymous peer review. Launched in 2012. Indexed in MEDLINE and deposited in PubMed Central.
