Overview
Clinical and Translational Oncology is an international Springer journal devoted to fostering interaction between experimental and clinical oncology and is the official journal of the Federation of Spanish Oncology Societies (FESEO); NLM's title statement also names the National Cancer Institute of Mexico. Its scope runs from cell and molecular biology of tumour cells to clinical assays of conventional and new drugs, and it publishes full research articles on the molecular and cellular bases of disease, aetiology, pathophysiology, pathology, epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment, together with educational series intended to close the gap between molecular and clinical oncologists. The homepage lists a hybrid publishing model. NLM records the title from 2005 as the successor to Revista de Oncologia (Barcelona), first published by Doyma and from 2010 by Springer Italia in Milan, eleven issues a year, with print issues ceasing in 2015; it is indexed in MEDLINE and PubMed.
