An open access Asian journal on cancers of the cervix, womb, ovaries, vulva and vagina, run by the Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology with its Korean and Japanese partner societies. Read by gynaecological oncologists and surgeons, especially in Asia.
Overview
The journal is published by the Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology and its homepage also lists the Korean Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the Japan Society of Gynecologic Oncology and the Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada as publishing partners. It describes itself as open access and peer-reviewed, publishing original articles organised by disease site such as cervix and uterine corpus, and it runs an ASGO webinar series, a journal club and a podcast. NLM catalogues it from 2008, records that it continues an earlier Korean-language title (Puin chongyang, ISSN 1738-6543), and notes that print issues ceased with volume 26 in 2015. The Directory of Open Access Journals lists it as open access since 2011 under a CC BY-NC licence, with double anonymous peer review and an article processing charge of US $1,000.
