Journal of the Egyptian National Cancer Institute (JENCI) is the official publication of the National Cancer Institute, Cairo University, published open access by SpringerOpen, part of Springer Nature, with Hussein Khaled as Editor. It describes itself as an open access peer-reviewed journal publishing the latest innovations in oncology and welcoming submissions in all fields of basic, applied and clinical cancer research, with particular interest in local and systemic anticancer therapy from developing countries, experimental oncology, early cancer detection, randomised trials including negative ones, and personalised medicine fields such as molecular pathology, bioinformatics and biotechnology.
