Oncology nursing forum

Oncology Nursing Forum is an official publication of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), published from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Its stated mission is to amplify oncology nursing science and support the translation of research evidence to practice and policy, with the intent of fostering health equity for individuals, families and communities affected by cancer. The NLM Catalog dates it to 1977 as the continuation of the Oncology Nursing Society newsletter. It uses a continuous publishing model with bimonthly issues (January, March, May, July, September and November); print issues ceased in 2024 and articles are posted online as they complete editing and peer review. ONS members receive the journal as a benefit of membership and non-members subscribe; the editor is Janine Overcash of Ohio State University.
