Radiology and oncology
Radiology and Oncology is a Slovenian open access journal covering cancer imaging, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy and clinical and experimental oncology. It is read by radiologists and oncologists, particularly in central and south-east Europe.
Overview
Radiology and Oncology is the journal of the Association of Radiology and Oncology in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and is distributed on the Sciendo (De Gruyter) platform. It began in 1992 as the continuation of Radiologia Iugoslavica, first issued by the Slovenian Medical Society's Section of Radiology together with the Croatian Society of Radiology. The journal describes itself as multidisciplinary, publishing original scientific papers and review articles on oncologic imaging, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, clinical and experimental oncology, radiobiology, medical physics and radiation protection; case reports are not accepted. It is quarterly, provides immediate open access under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence with authors retaining copyright, charges an article processing fee of 1500 EUR plus VAT, and is subsidised by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS). It is listed in DOAJ and indexed in MEDLINE.
