The International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting publishes the list of items a pathology report on each cancer should contain, so that reports carry the same facts wherever they are written.
The International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting brings pathology colleges, societies and cancer organisations together to produce common, evidence-based datasets: the classification, staging, prognostic and predictive items a cancer pathology report should hold. Its index lists datasets across breast, central nervous system, digestive tract, endocrine organs, female reproductive organs, blood and lymph, head and neck, children's tumours, skin, soft tissue and bone, chest and urinary and male genital organs; the ICCR says more than sixty are available to download. In 2019 the International Association of Cancer Registries endorsed them as the international standard, and translation for low- and middle-income countries is a stated priority.
