Overview
Abbott Molecular's UroVysion (FDA 2001 and 2005) and Vysis FISH probes are long-standing oncology diagnostics. In 2025-26 Abbott moved decisively into cancer screening: it holds US commercial rights to Freenome's SimpleScreen CRC (approved July 2026) and agreed to acquire Exact Sciences (Cologuard, Oncotype DX) for about $21 billion.
