ANGLE plc
A Guildford company listed on London's AIM market whose Parsortix cassette harvests live circulating tumour cells from blood by size and stiffness, the first such device authorised by the FDA, sold mainly as a service to drug trials.
Overview
ANGLE plc develops and sells the Parsortix system, a microfluidic device that captures circulating tumour cells from blood without antibodies and releases them intact for downstream analysis. The Parsortix PC1 received FDA De Novo authorisation in 2022 for harvesting circulating tumour cells from the blood of patients with metastatic breast cancer and is CE marked in Europe. ANGLE runs accredited laboratories in the United Kingdom and the United States that offer Parsortix-based assays, including HER2, androgen receptor variant and DNA damage response readouts on harvested cells, to pharmaceutical companies running trials, and it works with academic groups on assays for ovarian, prostate and lung cancer.
