Antengene is a Shanghai company that brought the XPO1 inhibitor selinexor to China and other Asia-Pacific markets and develops its own pipeline of blood cancer and solid tumour drugs.
Overview
Antengene, listed in Hong Kong since 2020, licensed selinexor (Xpovio) from Karyopharm for Greater China, South Korea, Australia and other Asia-Pacific markets and won Chinese approval in 2021 for relapsed multiple myeloma, followed by approvals elsewhere in the region. Its own pipeline includes small molecules and antibodies for blood cancers and solid tumours, and it runs regional phase 3 trials of selinexor combinations. It appears on OnCo as a lead sponsor of phase 3 cancer trials on ClinicalTrials.gov.
