Aulos Bioscience was founded by Apple Tree Partners and Biolojic Design around a computationally designed antibody, AU-007, that binds interleukin-2 at the CD25 epitope. This redirects endogenous and administered IL-2 towards CD8 T cells and natural killer cells and away from regulatory T cells. AU-007 is in phase 1/2 trials alone and with low-dose aldesleukin in solid tumours.
