The British Thoracic Oncology Group is the multidisciplinary group for healthcare professionals involved with thoracic malignancies throughout the UK. Its mission is to support and educate thoracic oncology professionals, to build a community that exchanges ideas and fosters research, and to represent the needs of people with thoracic cancers so that they have equitable access to optimal care. It aims to reach every lung and mesothelioma multidisciplinary team in the UK, runs webinars, workshops and an annual conference, has a research group and says it keeps professional independence from commercial organisations. The Charity Commission register records latest income of about £1.7 million for the year ending 31 March 2025.
