CeGaT, a Tübingen genetics laboratory, sequences tumour and normal DNA side by side and identifies the patient-specific neoantigens that personalised vaccines are built on.
Overview
CeGaT has run genetic analyses for medical, research and pharmaceutical customers since 2009. Its tumour diagnostics compare tumour and germline sequences to find somatic alterations and, from them, patient-specific neoantigens; the personalised peptide vaccine programme at CeCurio, the MVZ Tübingen oncology practice, draws on that work.
