Cerula Care works inside oncology practices to give people with cancer support for anxiety, depression and the practical strain of treatment, from a care team that works alongside their cancer doctors.
Cerula Care is a psycho-oncology collaborative care company: it partners with oncology practices and health systems to add psychosocial support and care navigation for their patients, structured around the Collaborative Care Model so the work can be billed under its codes. It launched with three large oncology practices in 2024. In February 2025 it raised an oversubscribed USD 3.7 million seed round led by Esplanade Ventures, with Amplify Capital, BrightEdge (the impact investment arm of the American Cancer Society), DigiTx Partners, SpringTime Ventures and Mike Pykosz, to reach more practices and build patient-facing technology. Supriya Laknidhi is co-founder and chief executive, and Kyle Lavin, a psycho-oncologist, is co-founder and chief medical officer.
