Convergent Therapeutics attaches an alpha-emitting isotope to an antibody that homes in on prostate cancer cells, for men whose disease has progressed after standard radioligand treatment. Its lead medicine has reported mid-stage trial results.
Overview
Convergent Therapeutics develops alpha radioantibodies: antibodies that deliver alpha-emitting payloads directly into cancer cells while limiting exposure of healthy tissue. The lead candidate CONV01-α is a PSMA-directed actinium-225 radioantibody for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer in patients previously treated with 177Lu-PSMA. In June 2026 the company presented what it described as the largest prospective phase 2 dataset for an alpha radiopharmaceutical at ASCO 2026, reporting anti-tumour activity, durability and favourable tolerability in Lu-PSMA-exposed mCRPC.
