Excalipoint Therapeutics develops three-armed antibodies that attach immune T cells to solid-tumour cells and switch them on more fully. Its lead medicine, aimed at the protein DLL3 on small cell lung cancer and neuroendocrine tumours, is in an early clinical trial.
Excalipoint Therapeutics, a Shanghai company working from the Roche Accelerator building, launched publicly on 18 March 2026 with USD 68.7 million in financing: a USD 41 million seed round completed in 2025 and a USD 27.7 million extension. Its backers include HSG, Lilly Asia Ventures and Eisai's venture arm. The lead EXP011 is a trispecific T cell engager against DLL3 plus two immune cell targets, in phase 1/2 for small cell lung cancer and neuroendocrine tumours. A second trispecific, EXP012, adds CDH17 as the tumour target. Both were licensed from Lepu Biopharma for USD 10 million upfront. Chief executive Lei Fang was previously a vice president at Lepu.
