Ikena Oncology developed targeted cancer drugs. In July 2025 it merged with Inmagene Biopharmaceuticals and renamed itself ImageneBio, which now works on an antibody for eczema rather than cancer.
Ikena Oncology described itself as developing therapies that target nodes of cancer growth, spread and treatment resistance, and was listed on Nasdaq as IKNA. On 23 December 2024 it agreed to merge with Inmagene Biopharmaceuticals with a $75 million private placement whose syndicate included existing Ikena investors BVF Partners, Blue Owl, Omega Funds and OrbiMed. The merger completed on 25 July 2025, when Ikena changed its name to ImageneBio, Inc.; the combined company, based in San Diego, focuses on olevaprubart, an anti-OX40 antibody for atopic dermatitis, so the business no longer works on cancer.
