March Biosciences makes a CAR-T cell therapy aimed at the protein CD5 to treat T-cell lymphomas, blood cancers for which few targeted treatments exist.
March Biosciences Inc., based in Houston, Texas and co-founded by Sarah Hein, Maksim Mamonkin and Malcolm Brenner, develops CAR T cell therapies for haematological cancers, using an approach it says unlocks targets without additional gene editing. MB-105 is a CD5-directed CAR T cell therapy in a phase 2 trial in CD5-positive T-cell lymphoma (NCT06534060). Its first registered cancer trial, NCT06534060, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in August 2024.
