Nammi Therapeutics makes masked immune-boosting medicines that stay switched off in the bloodstream and switch on inside the tumour, to strengthen the immune attack on cancer while sparing the rest of the body.
Nammi Therapeutics, Inc., based in Los Angeles, develops immunotherapies on two platforms, Masked ImmunoCytokines (MIC) and Nammisomes, designed to keep immune stimulators inactive in circulation and activate them at the tumour. Its lead product QXL138AM, a masked immunocytokine given by intravenous infusion every two weeks, dosed its first patient in November 2024 in a phase 1 trial in advanced solid tumours and multiple myeloma (NCT06582017). In August 2024 it announced a USD 1 million commitment from the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation's Myeloma Investment Fund within a USD 30 million Series B. Its first registered cancer trial, NCT06582017, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in September 2024.
