Nanobiotix
Nanobiotix is the Paris nanomedicine company behind NBTXR3, hafnium oxide nanoparticles injected into a tumour to make radiotherapy deposit more energy inside it.
Overview
Founded in 2003 and listed on Euronext Paris and Nasdaq, Nanobiotix built its business on the physics of radioenhancement: high atomic number nanoparticles that absorb X-rays and amplify the dose within the tumour. Its lead product NBTXR3 received a European CE mark for soft-tissue sarcoma in 2019 and is in the NANORAY-312 phase 3 trial in head and neck cancer, licensed to Johnson and Johnson in 2023.
