Precirix
Precirix is a Belgian company developing a radioactive medicine built on a very small antibody fragment that seeks out HER2-positive cancers, including breast and stomach cancers that have spread to the brain. It is in early human trials.
Overview
Precirix is a clinical-stage Brussels biotechnology company developing precision radiopharmaceuticals in oncology based on single-domain antibody (sdAb) targeting. Its lead candidate CAM-H2 is a HER2-directed radiopharmaceutical in a phase 1/2 trial, initially in Canada, evaluating safety, tolerability and efficacy in HER2-positive metastatic breast, gastric and gastro-oesophageal cancer, including patients with brain metastases. Patients first receive an imaging dose to confirm HER2 expression in lesions before therapeutic dosing. In June 2023 Precirix announced production of a first clinical trial batch of CAM-H2 at Evergreen Theragnostics in New Jersey to support expansion of the trial to the United States.
