Step Pharma is a French biotech whose oral drug STP938 blocks CTPS1, an enzyme that dividing lymphocytes depend on, to treat T-cell and B-cell lymphomas.

Step Pharma develops selective inhibitors of cytidine triphosphate synthase 1 (CTPS1), an enzyme discovered through a rare human immunodeficiency to be essential for lymphocyte proliferation but dispensable for most other cells. STP938 is an oral CTPS1 inhibitor in a phase 1/2 trial in relapsed or refractory T-cell and B-cell lymphomas, and the mechanism is also being explored in autoimmune disease.
