F-MISO (JBS-003) (JBS-003, F-MISO, 18F-FMISO) is a radiopharmaceutical PET imaging agent (diagnostic) from Juniper Biosciences, with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as partner. A fluorine-18 PET tracer that becomes trapped in oxygen-starved tumour cells; FMISO PET is used to pick out HPV-positive throat cancer patients whose tumours are not hypoxic and who may safely receive lower-dose radiation. Its furthest stage is phase 3, for HPV-positive oropharyngeal cancer and HPV-positive head and neck cancer. ClinicalTrials.gov registers it in 3 studies linked below. FDA Breakthrough Therapy designation reported by MSK (page updated September 2026). Phase 3 NCT06563479 recruiting, sponsored by Memorial Sloan Kettering.
