The university hospital of Nantes, whose haematology department under Philippe Moreau is one of the two French centres that lead the Intergroupe Francophone du Myélome trials.
Overview
The CHU de Nantes is the university hospital of Nantes in western France; its Hôtel-Dieu site houses the Department of Hematology, led by Philippe Moreau. With Lille, Nantes anchors the Intergroupe Francophone du Myélome, and Moreau was first author of the IKEMA and MAIA-era trials and of the 2022 New England Journal of Medicine report of teclistamab in relapsed myeloma. The Institut de Cancérologie de l'Ouest, the region's dedicated cancer centre, is a separate institution.
